Installing Dropbox on Debian Wheezy

I downloaded the Dropbox Debian (.deb) package, respective to my CPU architecture, from its official download site here. I chose Dropbox version 1.6.0 (64-bit).

To download and install the 32-bit package via Terminal:

cd ~/downloads
sudo wget https://www.dropbox.com/download?dl=packages/debian/dropbox_1.6.0_i386.deb && sudo gdebi download?dl=packages%2Fdebian%2Fdropbox_1.6.0_i386.deb

To download and install the 64-bit package:

cd ~/downloads
sudo wget https://www.dropbox.com/download?dl=packages/debian/dropbox_1.6.0_amd64.deb && sudo gdebi download?dl=packages%2Fdebian%2Fdropbox_1.6.0_amd64.deb

To install the Dropbox daemon:

dropbox start -i

Upon installing the daemon, Dropbox should start automatically upon system startup.
